Visiting With Your Dog

We love welcoming dogs, but from 1st January 2026, our policy is changing.

Where dogs are NOT allowed:

Inside the main restaurant (except assistance dogs)
Inside the main shop

Where dogs ARE welcome:

The conservatory dining area (via the Pottery museum entrance)
The Games Garden
All outdoor seating areas

We understand dogs are part of the family, and we’re very sorry to make this change.

We would like to sincerely apologise to all the considerate dog owners and their lovely companions who have always visited us responsibly.

While we know this is only a small number of incidents, unfortunately, the damage caused has outweighed the warm welcome we have always tried to give.

If you are visiting with a dog, please enter via the Pottery Museum entrance.
