Make a Pom-Pom Fruit Garland

This children’s workshop will give you everything you need to make a gorgeous fruit garland, made from pom-poms!

At House of Marbles this Summer, building on the success of our popular ‘make-your-own’ sessions. As a brand new addition for 2024, this session is now available to book for just £22.50 and is a great family workshop to get children interested in learning how to make things. Join us for a practical and enjoyable crafting experience, and take home an oh-so cute fruit garland tailored to your own design, with with Strawberry, Watermelon and Pineapple shapes available to choose from (make a variety of fruits or all-in-one design).

There are a limited 10 spaces available for this workshop only (so book early to avoid disappointment).

Who’s It For

Designed specifically for primary-school aged children to make with a parent, this workshop is designed for all skill levels, promising a delightful afternoon of creativity. Each session lasts up to 2 hours (and a minimum of 1.5 hours) giving you the perfect opportunity to create your masterpiece.

This garland makes a great decoration for your home, particularly a child’s bedroom, and can also make a great party decoration!

What’s Included

Everything you need to make a fabulous Pom Pom Fruit Garland (like the one pictured) will be included in this session, with:

• All materials and tools required provided on the day.
• Instruction on how to create different fruit styles from wool, and thread onto your string.
• A chance to learn more about making pom-poms.
• The know-how to go away and create more pompom garlands again in future.

We will provide all the materials and expert guidance needed, ensuring you have ample crafting and styling time. Our experienced instructor will expertly guide you through the art crafting with wool, using a variety of methods.

Further Info

• This session is designed for one child per Fruit Garland, with one parent/guardian present per child. One responsible adult is able to oversee up to 2 child attendees (please provide duplicate parent/guardian information on both bookings).
• Garland measures 1 metre approx.
• This session is recommended for children aged 5+ years of age.

*Please note, caution should be taken with garlands as they may represent a choking hazard for younger children.
