In a faraway land, deep in the heart of Bovey Tracey, The Old Pottery Restaurant is about to embark on a very special adventure. This Red Nose Day, we’re leaving our usual culinary kingdom behind and stepping into the world of Shrek and his misfit friends. It’s time for a day of laughter, green costumes and most importantly, supporting a brilliant cause.
Our team, from the kitchen to front-of-house, will be donning their best Shrek-inspired outfits – so expect to see more green than a spring meadow! Whether it’s Shrek himself, Fiona, Donkey, or even Puss in Boots, we’ll be bringing a bit of swamp magic to your visit.
Well, we’re not just here to entertain you with costumes and green faces (although, let’s be honest, that’s half the fun). Our bake sale will be brimming with scrumptious homemade treats. Every bite you take – from cakes to cupcakes – helps raise funds for Comic Relief. So treat yourself (or go back for seconds) – it’s all for a fantastic cause! And don’t worry – whether you’re joining us for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea, there’ll be plenty of delicious treats waiting for you all day long.
So, whether you join us for a full meal or pop in for a quick bite, we’d love to see you at House of Marbles on this special day. Expect plenty of laughter, great food and lots of fundraising for Comic Relief! And who knows?
