Events & Activities

General

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes affect your ability to attend our events. In the interest of clarity and transparency, we have outlined our policies as follows:

14-Day Refund Policy

Should you change your mind, you are entitled to a no-quibble refund within 14 days of purchase. This period is recognised as a cooling-off period in accordance with your statutory rights.

No Refund Policy for Events

Please note, our policy for event-related bookings is strictly non-refundable for any cancellations made within fourteen days of the event date. This applies to cancellations due to illness, schedule changes, or other reasons, including those related to COVID-19. It’s important to understand that this does not affect your statutory rights, including the entitlement to enact a refund under the 14-day cooling-off period for applicable purchases.

Refund Process

For cancellations eligible under our policy, refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking. These refunds are typically processed within seven days from the refund request date and are handled during our office working hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Special Accommodations

Should you require any special accommodations or have specific requirements, we encourage you to contact us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Safety and Conduct

The safety and enjoyment of all participants are paramount. We require all attendees to adhere strictly to the safety guidelines and instructions provided by our event coordinators.

Workshops and Activity-Based Events

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests are eligible for rescheduling if received more than fourteen days prior to the scheduled workshop or event date. Please note that restaurant booking deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. If a cancellation is requested within fourteen days of the event, rescheduling is not possible. However, participants may nominate a substitute to take their place on the scheduled day.

Rescheduling Policy

Participants can request to reschedule their event (including workshops, courses, or activities) with more than fourteen days notice, subject to the availability of alternative dates and time slots. A nominal rescheduling fee, a minimum of 10%, will apply to cover administrative costs. We cannot accommodate rescheduling requests made within fourteen days of the event date; in these instances, participants can nominate a substitute to attend in their place.

Illness (including COVID)

If illness affects a participant or instructor, we will make diligent efforts to find suitable replacements to maintain the continuity of the course. Participants experiencing COVID symptoms who can attend safely will benefit from our COVID-safe measures, such as mandatory mask usage. If a participant is too unwell to attend, our standard fourteen-day no-refund policy applies, but a designated substitute may attend in their place.

Gift Purchasing

We recognise the importance of flexibility in gift-giving. For activities purchased as gifts, we are pleased to accommodate rescheduling requests at no additional cost, provided they are made outside of the fourteen-day notice period. All gift purchases will be validated using the recipient’s name, which will differ from the name and email address of the gift-giver (purchaser).
