Green Workshops
Glass Globe Terrarium Workshop
This May, adults can make a glass terrarium at House of Marbles which will brighten you home for yours to come. With everything you need to create you terrarium (including the knowledge to go away and create more for yourself at home), the cost of this workshop is comparable to the cost of buying one ready-made, without the added bragging rights of being able to say you made it yourself! This is an adult only workshop.
Outdoor Fairy Rock Garden
This little pot plant will give you a fabulous parent and child session to learn about the plants used and how to care for them, with the added interest of decorating your own pot and adding you own little fairy and accessories. If you have been looking for a way to introduce your child to the garden then this is it! Recommended age 6+.
Indoor Fairy Rock Garden/Terrarium
Made in a glass lantern-style design, this terrarium can be turned into a gorgeous night-light with the addition of a string of battery powered fairy lights (provided as part of the session, use optional). A range of lovey indoor plants will be provided along with a selection of cute accessories, along with everything else you will need to create one. You will also leave this workshop armed with the knowledge of how to care for your new little eco-system. Recommended age 6+.
Glassmaking Workshops
This Spring at Teign Valley Glass Studio, we are hosting a variety of glass workshops that have never been seen before, plus the return of our popular bird-making sessions to make a Robin, Wren or Blue Tit. Among our new workshops, you will find some bookable 2 and 4 hour timeslots suitable for those who would like to work on developing their existing glassmaking skill or for special occasions and team-building packages to try your hand at something completely new. Also in the line-up is our new glass wave-making session.
